The COVID Diaries 211 – 13th November

A tumultuous week of factional fighting in Downing Street has ended in the apparent dismissal (or resignation?) of Boris Johnson’s much loathed chief advisor, Dominic Cummings. He of the famous lockdown breaking trip to Barnard Castle is reported to have been ordered to leave, together with his ally Lee Cain, following accusations Cummings had briefed against Johnson.

Conservative MPs and special advisors are said to be delighted by the departures.
